We work closely with employers to understand your needs and create pathways to work for qualified trainees. We believe that matching the right person to the job benefits everyone by increasing job satisfaction and productivity.
We can help you meet your labour needs by:
- Providing qualified candidate referrals in response to hiring needs
- Conducting interviews and/or pre-screening candidates
- Posting available positions on PTP Job Boards
- Coordinating and hosting Job Fairs on your behalf, giving you access to a large pool of job seekers
PTP has placed qualified candidates in a wide range of industries, including customer service, kitchen help, retail sales, information technology, administrative support, cleaning and housekeeping, personal support work, construction (including skilled trades), food processing and many other sectors.
Our job trials and training incentives enable us to place qualified candidates in your workplace on a trial basis. We assign a Job Coach who works with the trainee and the employer throughout the placement, with on-the-job and post-program support tailored to the needs of both parties.
The Canada-Ontario Job Grant program provides government funding for employers who are interested in arranging training for employees. Funding priorities include hiring and training unemployed individuals and creating new jobs.
We can also deliver customized training tailored to your workplace needs. We’ll work with you to assess your needs, deliver training at our offices or your worksite.
