Customized Training

Employers who offer essential skills training see employees with more confidence, enhanced skills, better performance, and improved ability to adapt to change. PTP offers customized training and assessment tools that work in a range of workplaces and encompass the needs of all stakeholders.

We have experience delivering literacy and communications skills, numeracy skills, computer skills, ESL for the workplace, pre-GED and GED preparation across a number of sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, health care, custodial and support services.

Our programming can be delivered in a short time frame and can be customized to meet the needs of participants with a range of skills in a single setting or workplace. Our services can include:

• Initial needs assessment with debriefing session and training plan.
• Instruction in your workplace or in the evenings at our PTP East location (typically a total of 36 contact hours delivered over 6 weeks). All learning materials are supplied.
• Exit assessment with debriefing session and concluding report.

A typical total cost for 12 participants is $10,200. Funding for this training may be available through a Canada-Ontario Job Grant.
