Stress-reducing support
Unable to return to work in the field he loved and struggling with health issues, Patrick arrived at PTP under considerable stress – but determined to find a new path forward.
The first step was working with our team to build a customized learning program so he would have multiple supports. Through Choices: Take Charge for Life and Work, Career Planning and Workshops, Patrick gained critical life and coping skills, and learned how to conduct a productive job search. It wasn’t long before he landed a driver/customer service position with Canadian Linen Services – an opportunity made possible through the strong partnerships PTP builds with local employers. More than a year later, Patrick is still reaping the rewards of his PTP experience: “With their help, I can do more than I give myself credit for.”
