A plan that works for you

Our employment counsellors meet with you to understand your interests, your strengths, and the kind of work you are looking for. Then, we put a job-search plan together based on your needs. If you have been out of work for some time or are having a hard time finding and keeping a job, we will give you extra support.

Resumes, cover letters, interview practice, and more

Together, we improve your resume, cover letter, and emails for the jobs you want. You will also practice your interview skills and get advice on how to best search and apply for jobs. You also get support with networking, making cold calls, and finding employers who are hiring.

One-on-one support

As you look for work, you continue to get one-on-one employment counselling and support on a weekly basis. Your employment counsellor will also guide you on options for further education or training if you need it.

Workshops

For even more support, join our free online job search workshops. Topics include understanding employer expectations, worker rights and responsibilities, and Canadian workplace culture. See this month’s workshops and sign up.
