English Conversation Circle

Gain confidence with spoken English through free casual group discussions

Great for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners

If English is your second language or you are in an ESL class, you will benefit from getting practice in listening and speaking English. Our Conversation Circle class is made for the needs of ESL learners.

Free program funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Classes start every week
Delivered online

Daytime classes

Tuesdays and Fridays
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Evening classes

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Eligibility

You need to know some English to join this program. It is not for learning English from the start. You must have English CLB 3 or higher to join.

This program is open to newcomers. This includes:

Permanent Residents
Convention Refugees
Protected Persons
Ukrainian Temporary Residents (CUAET)
Live-In Caregivers
International Francophone Students
