Improve your customer service skills and become better at communicating with other staff and customers in this free 8-week program. You will also:
- Understand a cashier’s roles and responsibilities
- Learn about the Canadian retail industry, workplace law, and health and safety
- Plan for employment
- Earn a Certificate of Participation when you complete the program

- Runs for seven weeks
- From 7 January 2025 to 21 February 2025
- On Tuesdays and Fridays
- From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Eligibility
This program is open to newcomers with a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 5 or higher. Eligible newcomers include:
- Permanent Residents
- Convention Refugees
- Protected Persons
- Ukrainian Temporary Residents (CUAET)
- Live-In Caregivers
- International Francophone Students
