Under the WCG Service System Manager framework, we deliver innovative programs that help clients achieve meaningful, sustained employment while supporting employers in building strong teams.

The Opportunity

Our Employment Services team continues to grow. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Manager of Employment Services to lead a team of Employment Services professionals, including Employment Counsellors, Job Developers, and Administrative staff. This is a pivotal role for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a measurable impact on people’s lives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Inspire: Supervise and coach a diverse team to deliver exceptional employment services and meet performance targets.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day program delivery, ensuring compliance with WCG standards and organizational policies.
  • Achieve Outcomes: Monitor client employment and retention results, ensuring programs meet or exceed contractual goals.
  • Build Partnerships: Maintain strong employer relationships to secure job opportunities and support sustained employment.
  • Grow Community Partnerships: Strengthen client intake and support client pathways.
  • Ensure Compliance: Manage reporting, risk identification, and adherence to funding requirements.
  • Manage Budgets: Operate within allocated resources and support financial accountability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in employment services, workforce development, or related fields.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10+ staff.
  • Strong operational management skills with a focus on outcomes and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of Ontario employment services and WCG framework is an asset.
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 criminal background check.
