  • use bank accounts, debit cards, and online banking for everyday needs
  • make a simple budget for rent, food, bills, and daily costs
  • understand credit and borrowing so you can avoid high-interest debt
  • spot scams and protect your money and personal information

  • Free program funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
  • Runs for four weeks
  • From 8 June 2026 to 11 July 2026
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
  • 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • In-person at 5353 Dundas Street West, close to Kipling subway station

Eligibility

This program is open to newcomers with a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 3 or higher. Eligible newcomers include:

  • Permanent Residents
  • Convention Refugees
  • Protected Persons
  • Live-In Caregivers
  • Palestinians from Gaza (MOME2023)
