Improve your customer service skills and become better at communicating with other staff and customers in this free 8-week program. You will also:
- Understand a cashier’s roles and responsibilities.
- Learn about the Canadian retail industry, workplace law, and health and safety.
- Plan for employment.
- Earn a Certificate of Participation upon completion of the course.

Eligibility
This program is open to newcomers with a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 5 or higher. Eligible newcomers include:
- Permanent Residents
- Convention Refugees
- Protected Persons
- Ukrainian Temporary Residents (CUAET)
- Live-In Caregivers
