Study for your Canadian citizenship test

If you are a permanent resident, are applying, or have applied for Canadian citizenship and need help to study for the test, PTP can help. Join our free classes and learn about the rights and responsibilities of Canadian citizens and about Canada’s history, government, laws, symbols, economy, and geography. Our classes are based on the official Discover Canada study guide. You will also practise test-taking skills to build your confidence.

Free program funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Runs for four weeks
From 28 April 2025 to 22 May 2025
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Delivered online

Eligibility

Classes are open to newcomers who:

are Permanent Residents of Canada
have an English level of CLB 4 or higher
