You will learn how to get online and use technology. PTP staff will work with you to help you identify your path to a job in Canada.
Great for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners
If English is your second language or you are in an ESL class, you will benefit from getting practice in listening and speaking English. Our English for Work class is made for the needs of ESL learners.
Online or in-person New
In-person for English CLB 3-4 learners at:
- 5353 Dundas Street West, close to Kipling subway station
Online for English CLB 5-6 learners
- Classes are all online

- Classes start every week
- Two times a week
- Two hours per class
- Join in the morning or in the afternoon
Eligibility
You need to know some English to join this program. It is not for learning English from the start. You must have English CLB 3 or higher to join.
This program is open to the following newcomers:
- Permanent Residents
- Convention Refugees
- Protected Persons
- Ukrainian Temporary Residents (CUAET)
- Live-In Caregivers
- International Francophone Students
