Free. There is no cost for getting your food handler certificate. This Employment Ontario program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.

Date, time, and location

  • Classes begin in May and July
  • Runs for six weeks
  • On Mondays and Tuesdays
  • From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Delivered in-person at 815 Danforth Avenue


You can take part if you:

  • have a Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • are 18 or older
  • have grade 12 or less
